Ordering prescription swimming goggles is easier than most people expect. You need your eye prescription and about five minutes. This guide walks you through each step clearly.

What You Need Before Ordering {#what-you-need}

You need one thing: your current eye prescription. This is the document from your optician showing your exact vision correction values. If your prescription is more than 12 months old, get an updated one before ordering — especially for children.

Step 1: Read Your Prescription {#reading-rx}

Your prescription shows values for each eye:

  • OD = Right eye (oculus dexter)
  • OS = Left eye (oculus sinister)

For each eye, you’ll see:

  • SPH (Sphere): The main power. Negative = myopia. Positive = hyperopia.
  • CYL (Cylinder): Astigmatism correction. May be blank if you don’t have astigmatism.
  • AXIS: The angle of astigmatism correction (1–180). Only relevant if you have CYL.
  • ADD: Reading addition. Not needed for goggle ordering.

📋 Example Prescription

OD (Right): SPH −2.75, CYL −0.50, AXIS 85
OS (Left): SPH −3.25, CYL −0.75, AXIS 92
This means: right eye −2.75 with mild astigmatism; left eye −3.25 with mild astigmatism. Different powers per eye — very common.

Step 2: Choose Your Product {#choose-product}

  • Age 16+: choose Adults Goggles
  • Age 3–16: choose Kids Goggles
  • Older teenagers (14–16): either may fit — WhatsApp us for advice

Step 3: Enter Your Prescription Values {#enter-values}

You’ll enter for each eye: sphere power, cylinder power (if applicable), and axis (if you have cylinder).

Step 4: Place Your Order {#place-order}

After You Order {#after-order}

Once confirmed and payment is received, your goggles are made to your prescription. You’ll receive tracking information once dispatched. When they arrive, try them in good lighting before getting in the pool.
